The name of our website

Our focus has always been on our (and others') research into young children's meaning-making and communication of their mathematical thinking, in ways that make sense to them, and it has occurred to us that the title of our network should reflect this. 

Thus: the Children's Mathematics Research Network. However, the URL remains the same: www.childrens-mathematics.net

The greatest number of visitors to our website come from the United Kingdom (and especially from England), indicating the very significant interest here, in more holistic and meaningful approaches for children, to early 'written' mathematics.
